New Kind is seeking candidates for a full-time, entry-level position as a relationship manager in our Raleigh, NC office.

If you have a natural curiosity and willingness to take on anything—from creating high-stakes, time-sensitive client work to keeping projects moving forward through scheduling and note-taking—this position could be a good fit for you.

At New Kind, relationship managers play a central role in our client work. They manage external relationships with clients, are accountable for keeping the projects running on time and on budget, while also pitching in and applying their unique skills to the work itself.

Successful New Kind relationship managers are detail-oriented diplomats with a core set of skills (writer, designer, researcher, marketer, facilitator, digital media/web expert, etc.) that they can use to complement their project and relationship management expertise.

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• college graduate with degree in a related field (like communications, marketing, business, design, and journalism) or a degree in a totally unrelated field (but with an awesome story for why you’d be a good fit anyway)
• proven experience managing or leading projects in a professional or academic setting
• quantifiable core skills as writer, designer, researcher, marketer, facilitator, digital media/web expert (or a combination of these) and examples of related work
