On September 3rd and 4th, Hopscotch Design Festival will gather makers, thinkers, storytellers, and re-inventors from Dublin to Durham to share ideas and foster conversations.

At New Kind, we’re into designing community experiences. We are thrilled to partner with Hopscotch Music Festival to unite people who are engaged in designing the future. For five years, Hopscotch Music has brought people to the streets to wander, explore, and connect in downtown Raleigh. Hopscotch creates a sense of vibrancy by bringing people together to experience this city.

Our goal is for Design Fest to follow the same principles to create an unconventional event that shines a light on local, national, and international talent who work across the many disciplines. We’ll explore graphic design, user experience design, urban planning, technology, architecture, music, food, film, and more. With multiple venues within a walkable footprint, explore the city while discovering the people who create with design in mind.

With interactive sessions, workshops, and parties included, the two-day event will blend seamlessly into Hopscotch Music Festival beginning Thursday evening.
