Chris Grams builds sustainable brands, cultures, and communities in and around organizations, with a specialization in work within the technology industry. At New Kind, he assists on brand strategy, positioning, and research projects, while also helping guide new business development and company strategy.
Chris is the author of The Ad-Free Brand: Secrets to Building Successful Brands in a Digital World. He has almost 25 years of experience in the communications field, including serving as President and Partner at New Kind since 2010. Before New Kind, he spent a decade at Red Hat, where he played a key role in building the company’s brand and culture.
Chris has also worked at IBM, and started his career as a literary agent and editor in the publishing industry. He currently resides in Raleigh, NC, and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
