Hannah Hoffman

Director of Design

Inspiration can come from anywhere

Hannah creatively and strategically helps organizations find their voice through the power of design. By developing meaningful visual brands and simplified experiences on the web, she aims to both compel people to think and inspire them to act. She leads the New Kind design team, and encourages the development of brands that are visually authentic and which set the stage for what’s next. Ever-energetic about the role culture plays in creating momentum for a team to do their best creative work, Hannah also prototypes workshops dedicated to building teams and defining personal growth paths.

Hannah gained early insight into how design can break down barriers while living in Santos, Brazil during her high school years—leading her to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Drake University. After exploring design in the nonprofit world in Washington D.C. post-graduation, Hannah now calls Raleigh home.

Currently, Hannah serves as Co-President for the AIGA Raleigh chapter—engaging a board that leads with passion, and creating a place for design to thrive in the community. In her spare time, she is constantly searching for inspiration in unexpected places—creative flower arranging, mural hopping through the city of Cape Town, or exploring new neighborhoods with her big yellow lab.

Why New Kind?

Creativity is our ultimate renewable resource.
