AIGA is the oldest and largest professional membership organization for design. With 70 chapters across the nation, AIGA helps advance design as both a craft and as a vital cultural force.
On a local level, AIGA Raleigh‘s mission is to create a place where designing thrives—by making design ability attainable, proving design impact, and uniting people. And everything they do supports their fourth goal of making a better chapter.
New Kind is excited to participate in The AIGA Raleigh Studio Tour on Thursday, November 5. Our studio will be open from 5:30pm-9:00pm.

ABOUT THE STUDIO TOUR
The AIGA Raleigh Studio Tour is a great networking event for the local design community. It’s also a terrific opportunity for local business owners and entrepreneurs to become acquainted with the creative talent in their own backyard. We encourage local design students, professional designers, commercial photographers, videographers, copywriters, creative directors, printer reps, paper reps, web developers, illustrators, business owners, marketing directors, and other design aficionados to join in the fun.
NEW KIND FESTIVITIES
In true New Kind fashion there will be music, accompanied by a taco bar and refreshments. And if you missed this years Hopscotch Design Festival we’ll be showing off some of the fantastic artwork from Ink Wars—a 60-minute illustration battle between 8 artistis.

Parking is available across the street from New Kind in the NC State parking lot. This is a self-guided tour. However, if you’d like to carpool, please visit the AIGA Raleigh Facebook page. A google map will be distributed prior to the event to help you plan your route.
